After training Anastasakis, we have built a whole team fully focused on helping him achieve greatness. We see him as a captain for a number of years, and have brought in former captains (from other teams) who have won cobble classics and tours, aswell as a number of top teammates. It's hoped with this experience around the young Cypriot, he can achieve the teams goals from an early age.
That starts this season (39). Thanks to Schweitzer's excellent podium in TVA last season (while riding for VO2maXXers), we have been able to grab a spot in the prestigious division 1 tour. Anastasakis will go into this with TF, and has his eyes set on a podium finish at the end, and the YC jersey. There's tough competition throughout and it remains to be seen if he's ready for this level yet.
After this the team will travel to Minsk, for the division 2 classic. Anything less than a podium here will be a severe dissapointment. Hopefully a strong showing in TVA and Minsk, will continue when we head to France for Haute Normandie.
Goals for the rest of the season will be decided once this period has been and gone (as results in these 3 key races will depend on what division we settle in).
Anastasakis currently sits 9th in the Cypriot all time rider ranking. By end of this season, we expect him to be getting close to the top 5, and within 2 years sitting in 4th. The top 3 are a long way off, but we have confidence he will make an impression on them before the end of his career. Former sprinter Rayan Ioannidis is currently no 1 with 4608 points and 42 results to his name

Good luck in Belgium, Knotts! I bet you will get at least YC jersey, but I hope that you win much more...

Good luck. He will atleast win Haute Normandie with his SP/CB combo.
